I did this plan on PowerPoint using the different shapes. Although it is a simple plan, it is a good foundation of where to put the different aspects of a double-page spread, such as pull quotes and Headlines. It means that when I transfer my photos to Photoshop, I will already have a clear idea of what I need to put in and where.
Therefore, now I can think more about how the different fonts and colour schemes will look and fit in with my plan. Meaning that I can focus more on the initial design as my layout has already been established.
